Through this physical and strategic art form, the artist accidentally investigated what it means to be a woman in a predominantly male space, observing the dynamics and interactions with both male and female partners. This exploration was not just about physical strength and technique but also about the nuances of touch, connection, and the unspoken communication between bodies engaged in this primal form of practice combat.

The experience also became a study of the dichotomy between novice and master. Practicing with seasoned professionals, the artist confronted her own limitations in strength and skill. This tenacity echoes the core principles of Greco-Roman wrestling, where mental fortitude and strategic thinking are as crucial as physical prowess.

i... reflects the timeless human quest for excellence and the spirit of fair play that Greco-Roman wrestling embodies. It is a narrative of conflict and resolution, resilience and growth, showcasing the artist's journey through this ancient sport and battle with her own personal assumptions and narratives.
