Artist Bio




Michael Hautemulle, born in 1991 in Brussels to an American mother and a French father, spent her early life in Flagstaff, AZ. She pursued her interest for the arts by studying applied arts in Nevers and later fashion in Antwerp.

With a Master’s in Fine Art from the Glasgow School of Art and a Bachelor’s from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, Hautemulle's work has been exhibited internationally, including shows in London. She collaborates with fellow artists and has contributed to various publications.

Hautemulle has mentored and lectured at several educational institutions. Currently based in Aberdeen, she is an active member of the artistic community, exploring new avenues of work and research at Arkade Studios.
